David Valencia is a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney, Australia. The school has been recognized by the Hollywood Reporter as one of the world's finest training grounds for performing arts. Other notable graduates include Mel Gibson, Cate Blanchett, Baz Luhrmann, Sam Worthington, to name but a few. David's stage credits include Shakespeare's Macbeth; Twelfth Night; The Seagull; A Man For All Seasons; Noises Off!; Pains of Youth; Pictures of Bright Lights; Kodak 35; The Criminals; True West; Pyretown; and more recently, Blood Wedding for Malthouse Theatre - one of the most distinguished theatrical companies in Australia. The latter also featured a performance by multi-award winning actress Mariola Fuentes (Talk To Her, Broken Embraces), who played David's mother, and has starred in numerous films directed by Academy Award-winning Director, Pedro Almodovar. David has been selected among hundreds of hopefuls to engage in master classes with two-time Academy Award winner, Kevin Spacey; Triple Crown winner and Co-President of New York's Actors Studio, Ellen Burstyn; and acting coaches Larry Moss and Elizabeth Kemp. In 2015, David will headline Latin-American indie features Bad Days and The Enforcers; as well as Elijah Wood's hotly-anticipated production of The Boy, directed by Craig Macneill, also starring David Morse, Rainn Wilson and Mike Vogel.
